 Great location by the river especially if your kayaking. Facilities aged but clean and adequate.

Friends said site accommodation was poorly equipped and Disappointing.

Quite expensive for the week considering the age of the facilities.

 Great site. Camping by the river. Pleasant and helpful staff. Would definitely go back.

Shower and toilet block could do with a bit of TCL but they were clean.

Excellent location for the river sports activities.

Plenty of eating places in the town too.

 Great site in lovely location by the river, nice grass pitches with plenty of shade. We visited this site mid August, it was extremely busy, the owners didn't seem to put a limit on numbers so they just kept coming!

It was a Saturday in the high season however. There are no marked out pitches so there is a bit of a free for all over getting a good spot.

Nice bar/ restaurant with friendly staff although we didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. They charge top whack which is as you might expect in high season

But l think the owners should spend some of their (not inconsiderable) earnings on upgrading the facilities which are very basic and shabby.
