 This is a very small site, with a warden who is there during working hours, but not resident. When we arrived, there was only us and a small tent. At no time was it very busy. The numbered pitches are not delineated in any way and are all on grass. Very low power levels (from memory, possibly as low as 2 amps), so use of electrical items is limited. Site is next to a path leading through a small wood to the nearby village and we were able to exercise dogs here off the lead. Very friendly warden who encouraged our language skills and made time each day to chat to us about what we had done. Site is convenient for Blois and other nearby chateaux. However, for those who want anything other than a very basic pitch, it probably wouldn't suit. Wash blocks were excellent and very clean as were the dishwashing and clothes washing facilities. We would certainly use this again, probably as a NH.
