 Wonderful site. Basic but that’s all we need.
The peace and tranquillity is second to none.

This is a caravan club CL site - not open to nonmembers.
This is my favourite in the area, I found the walking better, one can walk to Midhust approximately 6 miles though woods, fields and across a golf course, but you need to bear in mind you have to walk back !! Walking to other smaller villages, Lugashall to name one, you need to get your timing right to get to these county pubs as some close at 2pm, so no drinks or food at the end of your walk.
Weekends are fairly booked up so requires advance booking. Site your caravan and Mrs Drake will see you some time during your stay.
The farmhouse is 1/2 mile up the road. Well worth a visit for peace and quiet There are no facilities apart from water tap, dustbin and toilet emptying area.
