A lovely site, well thought out, each pitch having its own toilet ( in a shed) showers and fridge use too.
We travelled as a group of 5 different families and chose to book out the other pitches so we had exclusive use.
Great views from the site for miles.
We ordered a shopping delivery to the site on the first night to save us having to find a local shop for essential, this meant we could put un=p the tents and wait for the van to arrive.
From the car park there are wheel barrows to ferry our set up/ food etc to the pitches as there are no cars allowed in the camping area making it really safe for the younger children in our party.
Cant wait to visit again

What a perfect spot. Lots of rules but it is easy to understand why - it made the whole experience well organised and stress-free.
Super attention to details - the pitch was enormous, hedged on both sides with a fabulous view; own fire pit, picnic table and toilet; own shelf in the communal fridge - it is exactly what is advertised - “real” camping but just made that little bit easier.
The pitches are a short walk from the car park but you have 2 allocated wheelbarrows to ferry your stuff. Even the grass is cut so the paths to other pitches don’t come any closer to yours than needed.
It’s not cheap, but if you have children, or are dubious about the whole camping idea, it’s worth the money to make it easier. Kids loved feeding the goats and fetching fresh eggs.
Will definitely be back!

I visited as a family for 4 nights and loved this site. The pitch was a slight slope but easily manageable and plenty of room. Loved the chip bark section for pitching. The toilet and basin on each pitch was a dream and the fridge facility was also a great bonus although other guests felt the need to use our section as well as theirs and crush our food which wasn't appreciated. It was lovely and peaceful and my children loved everything about it. We had daily interaction with someone on the farm and they were always happy to chat about what they were doing or answer any questions.
My only criticism is the shower block. It wasn't cleaned the whole time we were there. There were also dozens of spiders in the ceiling area which made my children too scared to use the showers. It'd take a few minutes each day with a long broom to clear them away and make it suitable for everyone.
Otherwise I couldn't fault the site. Will be returning next year.

Only a few pitches with reasonable space and privacy. Very quiet, though you are facing sheep, goats and chicken in the filed opposite. We liked the private shed with the toilet. We liked the large communal campfire and stone oven. We liked the communal fridge.
Not much interaction with the owner besides emails and over the phone, but I did not need to. There is am honest box for wood and food.
We will come back again.
Single night booking is not possible though.
