Site very convenient if going to watch a game at Shrewsbury as the ground is less than five minutes away.
Site is flat but very basic. One water tap, one loo and a chemical disposal unit but these are both situated at least 150 metres away. Own washing facility required as there are no showers etc.
Plus point is that EHU. Is Available. £13 a night including EHU.
25 minute walk to P&R ( height restriction applies for vehicles and bus pass qualifies for 50% reduction)
10 minute walk to Sutton farm village for bus into town( number 8)
15 minute walk to retail park where a number 27 bus goes into town
A taxi from comet cars costs £4 20p to get into town which is cheaper than two people paying on the bus!
Lots to see and do in Shrewsbury including river trip. Don't forget to visit the Dingle Gardens in Quarry park.
Great train trips to virtually anywhere.
Site suitable for one or two nights.

A useful site for Shrewsbury and the surrounding area, plus it's just along the road from the new football ground (and has parking for matches apparently).
Access is easy, but remember to get into the right hand lane (to the right of the traffic island) at the B4380 roundabout and then take the B4380 north. The site is just past the traffic lights at the back of Percy Thrower's Garden Centre, there is a tarmacked driveway with no potholes.
That's the best bit, the site itself is 2 rough hardstandings which are just before the entrance to the very boggy field, which has ehu points but too muddy to use in winter. Water is down by the gate on the right, there is a bit of hardstanding at the edge of the field which is ok to walk along with care. There are no views from the site, only local new houses.
The CWD is a long way away; there is a track going round to the right looking from the back of the site, then across a muddy yard to a tall brick building with a net curtain in the window. This apparently also has a loo, but didn't look at it.
There is a walk from behind the site, going round to the left by a large house, you can go onto the golf course or down by Rea Brook, again very muddy but pretty.
To get to the football ground, turn right onto the B4380 (Oteley Road), it's not far at all. A little further, left at the roundabout at the end of the road, is a retail park with Sainsbury (and fuel), TK Maxx, Sports Direct, Boots and Halfords. The Park and Ride is also here.
We would probably use the site again if in the area, but not for a week, it would make a useful stop off. £12 per night is a little excessive for what is on offer we thought.
