The 3500 acre rewinding project estate tent only site, well spaced wild flower meadow flat pitches.
Very clean large loos and showers, very well stocked honesty shop. Fire pits and logs available
Unique site, Pitch up make your own Pizza kitchen with wood fired oven was fun, with tables and chairs very well thought out, don't miss the outdoor baths, or the dusk safaris which was excellent
Expensive site. Yes, but worth every penny,

With only 15 pitches you might think you'll be up close and personal with your neighbours but Knepp have organised the camping field perfectly.
Everyone has their own space whether you go for a mid field mowed pitch or a pick your own round the edge. Facilities are good - a couple of years ago there were compost toilets. These have changed to normal flushing ones. You can still shower partly outside or in the camping field or walk to the shop for indoor showers.
Special features include the outdoor under cover pizza oven and under cover seating area. Prices don't make it child friendly ( no. Discounts for children) but we have seen 'one adult one child' tents which is doable.
Last year we really enjoyed the newly dredged wild swimming pond on site.
Every year the wildlife abounds and increases. Storks are weirdly amazing to see and the pigs snuffling in the woods if you're lucky. So good walks good camping - oh and the wheelbarrows to transport stuff from the car are a dream.

The site has all the right camping facilities - firepits, wood, space, only a few pitches, quiet evenings, plenty of dark sky, good walking with or without maps,
A shop that sells beer as long as you go when someone is on duty, undercover seating and tables if you want to spread the map out!
Clean toilets and showers.
Although price per head is one of the more expensive sites we stay in, we both agree it's worth it for a tranquil break away.
