Very pleasant site. Was on pitch 1 right at front, not bad but not a lot of privacy as its right beside the toilet block and kitchen area.
Quite an expensive site for what there is in facilities. Gents 1 toilet 1 shower 1 sink, ladies 2 toilets 1 shower 2 sinks, so can get busy at times. Wash up area was great plenty of hot water and all manner of chargers and utensils to borrow.
Honesty shop was a treat and the wee coffee shop on Saturday morning is nice. A few pubs and a corner shop within walking distance nice wee dander for dogs in wooded area behind cricket club with child's playpark at the end.
Would go back.

Fresh scones croissants baked in the coffee hut.
If you have forgotten something the owner has a hut laden with useful items to borrow. Mini shop with honesty box. Two large fridges, pans, buckets for campers use.
Amazing outside picnic area with separate rustic bar area all under cover with fairy lights to give you a sense of being in the outdoors.
Such a lovely warm friendly site that gives you a home from home feel.
You will definitely come away feeling relaxed!

This was our second visit to Rural Relaxing within a couple of months and we will be returning soon as it ticks all of our boxes for a quick, local, weekend getaway.
Rural Relaxing is a new site (started operating in May 2016) and the owner, Caroline, has some great plans to develop it. Currently there are 5 EHU pitches, aimed at caravans and motorhomes plus a glamping cabin. In addition there is a field for tents.
At present the facilities are limited to two toilets and one shower in a single room which is fine for the 5 main pitches but may be a bit of an issue if there are a number of units in the tent field as well. However, Caroline is currently in the process of doubling this allocation with the creation of a second room which will vastly improve things. There is also a nice arrivals room with seating, fridge, etc. , and things to use and borrow whilst staying there.
Other plans well underway and ready for the 2017 season include the creation of a small snack bar and 3 glamping bell tents at the far end of the camping field.
Medbourne is a lovely Leicestershire village and benefits from an excellent, dog friendly pub/restaurant (a must for us at this time of year), the Nevill Arms which also has a cafe.
If you want kids clubs, play areas, etc. , etc. , then this may not be the place for you but if you want a quaint and charming little site in a good location then we can't recommend Rural Relaxing enough - its in a great rural location and we found it very relaxing!
