 A nice site by the Grand union canal, loads of narrowboats going by. The price is £20 for 1 night, £125 for 7 or more nights. Arranged with the owner to put money through his letterbox. He lives at Simon's Cottage, left out of the site, the house next to the canal.
It's easy enough to find, we came from the south west, so up the A5 to the Narrowboat Inn, turn into the site opposite the stripy stone house.
The site is not very level, you will need chocks. You can choose between the top of the site, nearer the bins and CWD, (which is next to the house across the road, a first. ), down the bottom by the canal is nicer, do your loo and rubbish/recycling emptying by car.
Most folk will come via the M1, J16 and follow the CAMC directions. It would make an excellent stopover.
There is a Tesco Express and fuel in Weedon and supermarkets in Daventry, about 4 miles away.
We liked the site, thought it was too expensive but that's the way they are going.
