This is our 3rd stay at this site, we like the peace and quiet at this site
The downsides are it is all grass pitches and you can see that several people have had difficulty getting off the site by the ruts left behind.
Also, it seems that the grass is not cut weekly as it is normally reasonably long but not that this puts us off :)

A typical farm CL with basic facilities and EHU. A pleasant field with good views across the countryside. The grass was cut once during our fortnight, so it was more of a meadow than a bowling green.
Our reason for choosing this site was our plan to hire a Cornish Shrimper sailing yacht from Mylor Boat Hire for a few days. Highly recommended if you have some sailing experience.
The sailing waters around Falmouth and across to Helford are surely the best in the UK. We also enjoyed many coast path walks with our two Jack Russells.
There’s a footpath next to the entrance of the site that drops down to Mylor Bridge.
You can then follow the path right round the peninsular to The Pandora Inn and beyond. Beautiful.

We have been going to this site for the past few years to enjoy the sailing, fishing and lovely walks in the surrounding area.
The site itself is off a quiet lane and the only facilities are electric hook up, water connection and chemical waste disposal point. The latter being pretty basic.
The field is sloping and in some places levelling blocks may be needed. Site fee is £12 per night. The site owners are very friendly, not intrusive and very helpful if you have a problem.
A butcher, post office, general store, fishmonger and pub are in the nearby village of Mylor Bridge.
The nearby Mylor Harbour is geared up for water enthusiasts. Boat and kayak hire, coaststeer and sailing school are located in the harbour. Nice eating places 16th century Pandora Inn, a bit pricey and Castaways wine bar.
We have already booked for four weeks this year and can honestly say that for peace and relaxation this site is perfect for us.
