 This small site is a useful overnight stop on the way across Germany towards Switzerland or Austria. It has the usual assortment of permanent caravans with gardens, sheds, fences etc, but beyond them is a large, level grassy area, surrounded by trees, with no marked or numbered pitches. This means it's possible to stay hitched up overnight to enable an early start next morning. Water, electric hookups and bins are all nearby.
The toilets and showers are near the entrance and are clean and heated. Loos have a central paper dispenser and washbasins have soap and dryer. The shower block closes at 9pm, but this may be only in low season (we visited in April. ) There is some noise from the motorway but not too intrusive.
The town is small and quite pleasant but nothing special. There are a couple of supermarkets and a big indoor swimming pool.
This isn't an ACSI site - we paid 18 euros. Dogs are 'verboten'! But we saw a red squirrel, which was lovely!
