What a little gem of a find, we stayed for 3 nights and was loving the peaceful and tranquil setting so we booked another night.
Host Joanne and Robin are always at hand if you need them. We had a fully serviced pitch which are flat and spacious.
Facilities are spotlessly clean throughout.
You can also purchase through a honesty box home made apple juice made by the host, which is delicious by the way! We purchased 3 to take home as gifts.
Thank you Joanne and Robin for a great stay we will definitely return.

A lovely well maintained quiet rural site.
Had two wonderfully relaxing nights in the higher specification immaculately clean shepherds hut for two (a hidden gem).
Local shops for post, take away and provisions are a short 10+ minutes drive away in Blakeney?
Thank you Joanne.

A lovely quiet campsite down a windy narrow country lane on a mini-peninsular so the local roads are very quiet. Main road 1/2 mile away.
You can hear the train whistle on the nearby level crossing throughout the day, although I got used to that very quickly. Occasionally the sheep next door were chatty - but that was about it.
Ladies had 2 showers with a seated drying area, 2 sinks for cleaning teeth, and 2 basins for hand-washing. 4 toilets, including 1 with its own basin/worktop for a wash/changing babies. 2 sinks round the back under the eaves for washing up, very hot water, but in heavy rain my legs got a bit soggy from the rain.
Small site so every pitch close to the shower block without being on top of it. Gated drive entrance, so you have to get out of the car and open it, drive through, then out again to shut it.
Felt secure, but unhelpful in bad weather. The gate is padlocked at unsociable hours, not sure what they were, but you can have your own key for your stay. I wanted to leave at 8:30 one morning and it was still locked, so I would get my own key next time.
Holds maybe 30 pitches in total of caravans/tents.

Just stayed for 5 nights at Severn Valley touring site.
Superbly well kept site with immaculately clean facilities. Very quiet area
Close to the Forest of Dean and River Severn and within east reach of the Wye Valley area.
We shall definitely return soon.

This is a quiet and clean campsite that does not allow dogs, this was perfect for my grandchildren who are nervous of dogs, but it's also free from dog mess and barking.
The toilets and shower facilities were very clean at all times.
I would visit this site again.

Just back last night from 7 days away.
We took a fully serviced pitch, surrounded on three sides by 6 foot hedging.
Whole site is flat and level, with extensive pitch hedging.
The loo block is one of the very best we have ever encountered! Free hot showers on a push. Warm inside.
Excellent facilities for everything. Maintained spotlessly by Joanne ( the owner ) with help.
Joanne and Robin very friendly and helpful. Good location, no noise, except very minor countryside.
Near to the River Severn. No bar, no shop or fast food or kids area ( Outdoor table tennis table available).
Very quiet; secure location.
Will certainly be back before long.

I’ll start with the dislikes - there aren’t any! The only thing to be aware of is this site is in the countryside side be aware that the approaching lanes are a little narrow with high hedges so visibility of oncoming traffic is limited, so take extra care.
We had never been to this side of the river Severn before and finding this beautiful site surpassed all our expectations,
Joanne couldn’t be nicer or more helpful from booking the site last year to changing the dates twice, and when we arrived not being sure if our electric lead would be long enough being assured if it didn’t she would lend us one,
The site is beautiful and as we were on one of the pitches with fully serviced we had beautiful views across the country side and even our early morning visitor of the biggest and noisiest pheasant I’ve ever seen was lovely!
Joanne works so hard from morning till night keeping this site and it’s shower/toilet cabin in immaculate condition,
The rubbish bins are never overflowing like some sites and children played without fear of annoying the owners and because there’s no dogs allowed as it’s a working farm area,
The grass and walkways were immaculate too, this is a peaceful, get away from it all place to come in a perfect location, be aware that the nearest shop is about 5 miles away so make sure you have everything you need, unlike us!
We visited to Newport and Chepstow and surrounding area and Ross on Wye Abergavenny and surrounding area and we went to Gloucester, which is the biggest town,
We had no problem with Wi-Fi, our huge size pitch, fully serviced was enclosed within mature hedges, extremely private next to a very quaint shepherds hut, the resident sheep and llama are the only sounds you hear,
We were lucky to have amazing weather during the queens jubilee however as heavy rain was forecast for our last day we decided to go home a day early, this was by no means any reflection on the stay,
We would definitely go back again if we visit that area, the best stay we’ve had in a very long time, the price of this holiday was also incredible.
Well done Joanne, you work so hard to make sure everyone is happy and 5 stars aren’t enough, Thank you for a marvellous stay,

One of the nicest sites we have ever stayed on, with a warm friendly welcome from owner Joanne.
The site is beautifully maintained with spacious level pitches and spotless toilets and facilities.
Best of all was the peace and quiet, the site being set in open countryside well away from any road noise.
There are good walks from the site through the village down to the river Severn and across the countryside with plenty of wildlife on view. The only thing missing was a pub within easy walking distance!
We stayed for a 2 night mini break only but we will definitely be returning before too long.

Very pleasing site, lovely views. Immaculate facilities, and large size pitches.
Alpaca in the next field, along with some sheep from time to time.
Nothing to fault, owner Joanne was very nice, and location was good. Eggs on sale each morning, lovely.
A really lovely peaceful site, would go again any time.

Went with 4 of my friends, we came for the weekend and really enjoyed our stay and felt it was a good price for what we got when we compared with our camping trip last year.
We all said we don’t think we’ve seen somewhere with cleaner facilities so we were all really impressed with that.
So if you want to go camping somewhere with really nice clean toilets, showers, sinks for washing up etc I would recommend here.
The location is beautiful as well since it’s located near the Forest of Dean which is a really nice place to go for hikes or bike rides.
