Easy to find using the directions on their website. Beware satnav which will want to bring you off the M42 at J10, through Tamworth and along 3 miles of rough, probably flooded single track road. From the end of the motorway at J11 it's easy.
Unfortunately the site appears to have gone downhill since previous reviews. We were the only tourers, all others on the site were permanent residents. They were no trouble, but the caravan next to us had piles of rubbish outside. They burnt quite a lot, but there were still mouldy old mattresses and other debris.
The gate is another problem, big, heavy wood with a metal catch. One half opens outwards, the other inwards. The shop at Harleston has closed, so the nearest is the Co-op, off Ashby Road on the outskirts of Tamworth. There is a garage and Morrisons a bit further along.
The same owner also owns Cleat Hill CL, almost next door. We read the reviews which are poor, but we went to look at it and it looked fine. Did not see the CDP so don't know if it has been improved (the main problem mentioned).
You should go to the Memorial Arboretum if you have not visited. Don't bother with Wall Roman site if the museum is closed, not much to see.
Excellent email communication and information, but we wouldn't recommend it. £20 pn.

I had a relaxing stay with lots or walks following the public footpaths.
Dogs loved it there.
Saw and heard a lot of wildlife, its so rural and yet it comes under the Borough of Tamworth.
Clean and secure with the huge wooden gates.

We stayed on one of the grass pitches in our tent, 2 adults, a six year-old and a dog. However be advised there are no facilities at all at this site, it is literally a tiny 10-pitch site on a farm with a mixture of hard standing and grass pitches. We were ok with this as we had our own toilet tent and didn’t mind going without a shower for 3 nights!
What we did want was an electric pitch and all the pitches here have electric hook up and their own water tap which was great from a hygiene point of view in the current socially-distanced times. We were the only tent there, the rest of the pitches were caravans/ motorhomes.
The pitches are lovely and big, not crowded at all. There are beautiful fields stretching for miles right next to the site and the quiet country lane directly out of the site is lovely for a walk.
There was a big adjoining Meadow at the back of the site which was great for letting dogs off the lead and for the kids to play. Also a massive hay barn where the kids were playing on the haystacks (not sure if they were meant to be doing this but the barn wasn’t closed off in any way from the site and they were having a great time).
I’m adding an extra point as this site is the best value site we’ve ever stayed at. To have electric hook up, your own water tap and a massive pitch for £45 all-in over the bank holiday weekend (3 nights) was fantastic value.
Overall a very basic but lovely, peaceful site

The owner of the campsite was very friendly and helpful.
She sent me a link to her on line booking which was very quick and easy to use.
The site was quiet.

We stopped here for a night on the way back from Durham heading south to Wiltshire. A convenient 10 minute drive from the M42 and easy to find.
The site has large wooden access gates and a large metal fastening, which may be a bit heavy for some people to open. There is also no way of fastening the gate open - maybe something to consider as on a windy day (like it was today) I was worried that the gates may move against the car/caravan before we had got through!
The site is new and therefore the grass a little patchy, and the hardstandings still settling - however, don't let that put you off - the pitches are huge, and the hardstandings all had water, electric and waste water point in situ.
Haunton village (just up the road) has no shops so you need to come prepared unless you want to eat out - the owner provides details of local pubs etc when you book.
Despite it's somewhat 'agricultural look', this was actually a really nice site - if you like sunny pitches, big skies, constant birdsong and a peaceful nights sleep, then this is the place to stay! We wished we could have stayed longer to explore some more.
