I want to be fair but this site hasn't quite got it right. In the middle of the downs, adults only, it should be tranquil, a peaceful get away and attractive to people who value those qualities but it isn't peaceful or tranquil. There is the obvious noise generated by a busy farm which is acceptable, there is an intermittent noise generated by the road, which is directly alongside the camping field which is mildly annoying. There is noise coming from the farm garden, right next to the site, of children playing (shouting and yelling) and their dogs barking which, again, is mildly annoying. Intermittent traffic to the farm, farm cottages and tack all minor disturbances in their own right but a constant niggle when all added together. There are no facilities for the camper and the site is aimed at people who want a break from the niggles of suburbia but it doesn't quite deliver.
