Three of us visited Canna Campsite at the end of May for 2 nights. It happened to co-incide with one of the finest periods of weather of the year. The campsite offers free transportation of your luggage from the pier, meeting you off the ferry. You have to walk but it's a great way to arrive, maybe about 1 mile, plus you pass the small village and get the lay of the land. The campsite itself is AMAZING with views to die for and central location for exploring the island. Well kept with loads of brilliant areas for camping which costs £10 per night per 2 adults. There are pods which we may use the next time. It wasn't over busy when we were there but some folk had been there for nearly 2 weeks! (which says a lot for the campsite). There is a cookshack with pots, plates, cutlery etc and water is collected there. The toilet shed (1 toilet) has been newly installed and a shower at a nearby farm steading completes this small and quirky campsite (£1 coin and a bit temperamental). Would highly recommend and most definitely will return.
