 Previous reports / Reviews are spot on but now soap and paper in loos. Snack bar does chips and some basics but also cocktails. The wifi is now fibre and 30 mbps. You can pull it in from pitches near reception but we have a wifi boost system so got great speed all day. Still free.
Visited Luçon nearby but apart from a huge cathedral and a stunning park, we didn’t find anything else of interest.
Excellent kids facilities with slides, etc and a trampoline. Pool opened early and really warm (heated)
As stated before, cleanest and best toilets / showers anywhere. Loos segregated but showers unisex. Spotless. Flat land for leisure cycling and quiet away from N / D roads but even they are not busy.
Helpful tourist office and an adjacent farming museum with English translation headsets according to tourist office. Can’t give this less than 10/10
Adjacent to sports facilities.
Friendly, helpful warden. €14 pn with ACSI CC. And 7 nights for 6. / 14 for 12. Absolute steal at that.

This site is the sort of site we enjoy, its clean, friendly, for a tent the pitches are big, toilets and showers are cleaned regularly throughout the day.
The WiFi is only available at the reception, but I do the dishes in the morning and evening and have a beer at the bar /reception after the evening dishes so it suits.
There are water points and there is toilet paper and a good pool, and bikes for hire.
There is a very good, small supermarket within walking distance.
An interesting area, we stopped for seven nights and could go back and enjoy the site and surroundings

A lovely small campsite with hedged, grassy pitches. The reception had just closed for lunch when we arrived, but the friendly guardienne told us to pitch where we liked and book in later. The site has a snack bar, and you can have bread in the morning if you order it the evening before, or there is a good boulangerie a few hundred yards away. There is also a small supermarket nearby. The sanitaires were very clean, with toilet seats and soap but no paper or hand drier. Showers at 7 am were on the cool side of lukewarm. There are no water points except at the washup and the motorhome service point. We couldn't get any mobile signal, but there is free wifi at the reception. We paid €13. 50 including electricity with an ACSI card, which is lower than you pay for a min fac site in England.
