Great basic, good value campsite. One shower, two toilets and washing up sinks in a shed at the bottom. Was fine when we went because it was not very busy but I imagine it could be a bit tricky at busy times.
Half hour walk to the village. Very steep walk down (and back up obvs). Rural views but no sea view.
Very relaxed and friendly.
We had a lovely evening sat round the fire pit.
Decent roast at the Combe Barton Inn.

Basic, proper camping with campfires allowed.
There are many sites with more facilities, but for us, that isn't really camping!
Toilets were clean, water was hot (including for washing up!).
This is just the sort of site we like.
Jake, the owner, was very helpful.
My daughter and I and our dog enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Becky was so friendly and helpful as were the other campers.
Best campsite shower we've had for a while.

This was our second stay at this lovely site!
Basic but clean facilities with hot water shower, two flushing toilets and a washing up area. All you need for a nice simple camping experience!
The area is beautiful, peaceful and have the most incredible views of the Crackington cliffs from the adjacent feild.
Jake the owner is helpful and welcoming with a wealth of good recommendations for the area!
There are firepits that are free to use, with bags of logs available to purchase at a reasonable price.
If you are looking for a lovely, no fuss camping experience where you don't feel cramped next to other campers in small pitches, this is the place!
We have loved both our stays here and can't wait to return again.

Great campsite- basic faculties- but immaculately clean and functionable, hot shower, flushing toilets and washing up area etc.
There is a big field to choose a plot from- we had plenty of space and Jake kindly sorted us out with a fire pit- which we were allowed to bring our own wood to- but there is plenty there for purchase.
Really chilled vibe and a nice walk down to crackington.
I intend to return with family in the future.

Excellent location for camping. Perfect facilities on site and a great host Jake who looked after us well.
A path going from the campsite down to crackington heaven beach in 20-25 minutes.
Highly recommended for both the price and location.

Brilliant basic, quiet, rural site. Very relaxed and could choose where to camp in the large field.
Dog friendly. Lovely views and great place to watch the sunset.
Toilets and shower kept very clean. Fire pits and wood available. Jake and Becky who run it are lovely and very helpful.
Sad that Covid stopped us visiting this year but hope to return in 2021.

Love this campsite. Great setting, a very steep but picturesque 20 minutes walk to the beach, cafe and pub, 30 minutes on way back as uphill.
Basic but perfectly adequate and spotless facilities including a hot shower at no extra cost.
Owners Becky and Jake are very friendly and helpful and on a Friday night make absolutely delicious pizza on site, not to be missed! Quiet, no background traffic noise and wonderful dark, starry skies.
You'll need your lantern as there's no electricity so no lights in the loos. Wetsuit and body board hire available in the beach cafe, the surf was amazing.
Views from the coastal path are absolutely dramatic, lots of beautiful beaches nearby. We were there over the August bank holiday weekend and although the site was full there was plenty of space and didn't feel too busy.
We had the perfect holiday :)

Lovely quiet campsite which is everything I believe camping should be, lots of space, beautiful surroundings, beach in walking distance, clean facilities and very helpful and friendly campsite owners.
Would highly recommended to all that enjoy camping!
