Fate brought us to this site after a problem with the towing cable. It was Easter Monday and everywhere was closed.
Fortunately, this site was fairly close to the ‘aire’ where we discovered the problem so we arrived on the day of opening. A nice family run site by Sophie and Frank who are very helpful.
There are chickens, rabbits and goats free to roam behind a fenced area. Good size pitches. The millpond which becomes a stream was behind our pitch.
The water tap and electricity supply was next to the pitch. The ‘sanitaire’ was nearby with good hot showers.
Toilet paper provided. Depending on the time of day washing up water varied from lukewarm to hot. Washing machine and tumble dryer available, with a token purchased from reception.
The swimming pools were closed in low season. Free WIFI. Snack and bar. We had a fish and chip supper on our last night.
On Sophie’s recommendation we visited some lovely places in the area including a stroll along the Canal du Midi which runs past Agen.
If passing through we would certainly return.

A very pleasant traditional French camp site. Situated largely under trees, with a stream running through, it’s also home to ducks and has an enclosure of hens, rabbits and goats.
There is a simple but inviting swimming pool.
The restaurant offered a variety of meals, and we enjoyed an interesting, tasty meal for a very reasonable price.
It’s convenient for a stopover on the A62, but would warrant a longer stay.

Things just seemed to have got even better since Berriow's and Oxter's reviews
We were fleeing the”canicule” and dropped in here by chance. A very shaded family run site based around an old watermill. They obviously are very keen gardeners as everything is “kempt”. Apart from a children’s play area there is an enormous chicken run/paddock that has a variety of different chickens, goats and rabbits
Very large, flat pitches under mature trees. Ehu is the standard EU (blue) connector and are either on, or on the adjacent pitch
The sanitaires look old fashioned but are extremely clean and the water temperatures nice and hot.
There is a small restaurant/bar/cafe where pizzas and some basic other meals. This area has a good free wifi signal and a large covered area for its use. Bread, if booked, is delivered to your pitch before 08. 00 (there is a dedicated roofed box on each pitch for this service)
A large new Intermarché is about 3km away in Colayrac St Cirq. It has also fuel at much cheaper than the Total station in the town.
The site is their home and they are obviously so proud of it. It is just an incredible find.

We were there just three months after Oxter so there are no factual changes since that report.
We liked it there too and were impressed by the hard working, do everything, family owners. One of them walked the site with us when we arrived to show us the various separate areas, cooked for us in the evening, and was up in the half light of early morning cleaning the shower block before anyone but me was up. Private owners are different from wardens, aren't they.
They have obviously worked hard to put in graveled hard standings on flat ground to attract motorhomes in, and those pitches were full. The other pitches are in clearings of woodland - ideally shady for high summer, but we looked for a sunnier spot in late September. Disabled visitors and wobbly walkers need to choose a pitch carefully if they want access to the toilets and showers - from some parts of the site there are stone steps and a rough and ready wooden bridge to trip up the unwary, but there are alternatives. The whole place is rustic and informal rather than smart, but very pleasant nonetheless.
And for a glorious day out, drive on beyond the site, up and over the hills past Prayssac in wonderful scenery, and go to the famous garden of water lilies at Le Temple sur Lot. Lunch there beside the lake on a sunny day is special.

Very nice ACSI site with generous grassy pitches and clean, good sanitary facilities. Small shop at reception which has free wifi point with tables to sit at. Friendly staff. A collection of goats, chickens, geese etc by the entrance to this well kept site with duck pond. Nice Swimming Pool on site.
A basic restaurant next to reception. Driving distance to Agen with all tourist and shopping facilities approx 5 km. You can join the excellent canal walking or cycling paths near the interesting Pont Canal - where the Canal crosses the mighty Garrone by a 19th Century Viaduct in Agen. Excellent value for money with ACSI card in low season at just over €15 pn
