 In an area rather short of campsites, we stayed here for 3 nights purely for access between Como town (30 mins. ) and Bergamo (1hour) before moving on. It’s down a small lane in an area of light industry, past a big fishing lake complex. It’s a well-ordered mobile home site with a small area for tourers and more permanent caravans. Friendly owner speaks a little English. Clean, new facilities, but small and probably not sufficient when busy.
Touring pitches are on large rough bits of shingle, marked by young trees. Little grass. That was fine for us, in the heavy rain. We could get out of the huge puddles that formed, not getting stuck on a grassy pitch. You wouldn't want to get chairs out to sit and relax. Electricity 6amps.
In summer, when the small playing field is cut and the pool complex and restaurant is open, it’s probably a popular place. You can see the lake, but there’s no real beach access. There’s a fence and lots of reeds; ducks etc. (and fire-flies). Village of Bosisio Parini, across/around the lake has pleasant grassed lakeside sitting area. Avoid driving during the local rush hour periods including lunch-break unless you want to sit in a traffic jam!
