 Reviewers - mature couple with campervan and bikes.
I had read that this was an interesting town with an unusual market, so we decided to stay and have a look. The site is in the ACSI discount scheme, one of the cheapest.
We found the site easily from the description in the ACSI book, it is situated just outside the town centre near the sports stadium. When we arrived late morning, the reception was closed, the opening times were rather strange, 9. 00am to 11. 00, then 3. 00pm to 7. 00. As there was a barrier, we drove back towards the town and parked on the riverside car park to have lunch, then cycled into the town.
When we finally got to check in, the receptionist was very friendly and gave us lots of local info. We were invited to choose our own pitch, we chose a sunny pitch away from the shady trees by the river. The site is flat and grassy and has a few mobile homes at one side. The sanitary block was nearby, separate sex facilities, all nice and clean, with hot water. Washing up was in a separate room.
It's not far to cycle into town, we went in on market day which was very busy. Lots of poultry and animals for sale, as well as the usual type of market. The town is very attractive and well worth a visit.
We would be happy to stay here again, it was a nice site and a very modest price with ACSI discount.

Picked site as making slow way back to Calais, from Alsace. Weather improving. Very cheerful receptionist, keen to give out leaflets for area. Realised we had visited the well known market on previous holiday - booked to stay on for the market. Is by the river and weir, river pitches very shaded. Pitched on next block up, for part shade. Tap on pitch. Toilets dated, but clean and very hot water. No pool. 20min walk into town, which is pretty with collonades and church has patterned tiled roof.
Had a really restful time here in the sun. Only charged for one dog. Would return if in area.
