We’ve been to several naturist campsites around the UK and this is the best naturist club we have ever been to. The heated pool is clean and fantastic, the sauna, steam room, ice machine, sports facilities and everything else they have, is free to use once you have booked in.
The grounds are kept in amazing, clean and beautiful condition, as are the rest of the facilities. The showers and toilets were immaculate (always important).
This is a family oriented club and our children were made to feel at home by the other Heritage children. There is a mix of members and casual campers. Everyone is security checked and validated before entering and they don’t let people just turn up at the gate. Which gives great peace of mind. The grounds are also fully enclosed meaning you can rest easy whilst your children wander and explore the play park and kids hut.
Heritage even have a cookhouse which, if you time your stay right, can provide you with a full home cooked meal for a mere £5 and £2. 50 for children.
The best thing about this club is the people. They are so friendly and helpful. We did get a nice tour of the ground and facilities when we arrived but if we forgot where something was, everyone was helpful in pointing us in the right direction. Booking our stay with them involved going to their website and filling in a form and then waiting for confirmation. Basic, but easy and simple.
Another bonus was the age range of people. Normally at naturist clubs the people are over the age of 70. But at Heritage there was a broad spectrum of ages. Children to play with our children. People in their 20’s, 30’s, 40’s (which suited us) and onwards. If you are new to naturism (like my wife once was) don’t be worried about what shape or size you are. Nobody stares and there is every shape and size at this wonderful site.
When it was time to go the kids didn’t want to leave! But with the promise of Legoland nearby, we eventually persuaded them.
We are going to come back as soon as possible and become members. The kids loved it, we loved it and we felt safe and relaxed the whole time we were there. The cost of camping here is cheaper than most textile sites BUT as soon as you become a member the price of camping comes way down! Bonus!
We can’t recommend Heritage enough.
