Great little farm site. Friendly and helpful Owners. Good level pitches.
Close to Thornhill and 10 miles to Dumfries. Loch Ettrick, Drumlanrig castle and grounds.
Clean toilets and showers. Chemical disposal, grey water and drinking water arrangements good.

Stopped here two nights as my son was participating in a Tough Mudder challenge at, nearby, Drumlanrig Castle. What a little gem! The owner is very friendly farmer with a lovely collie who insists on having her ball, constantly, thrown. When we arrived the grass was very neat and we chose a corner pitch - having more than enough space for our Fiat Ducato based campervan. The facilities are housed in a canny little building - yes, small but everything there for a very muddy 'Mudder' on competing his challenge on a wet, muddy day. There is a sink outside for washing dishes which, I think, was cold water only but, because we were right next to the tap and had hookup, we washhed our dishes in the 'van. I would definitely go back to this little tranquil corner. And probably will do so - if and when, my son takes part in the Scottish TM again.

Small basic site in a field, electric hook up and toilets also chemical waste point. Toilets were clean and fine for this size of site. We only stayed one night. My only gripe was the grass needed cutting apart from this a good site and handy for Dumfries.
