 We were not originally intending to stay here but were so glad that we did. It is a lovely site that will not disappoint anyone.
The shower block is the best I have ever come across in Europe, beaten only in the UK by the newest one at Old Oaks, Glastonbury. It is on a working farm but don`t think for a minute that there will be mud and machinery around, it is immaculately kept. The camping area we were in, and we were given a choice, had about 6 pitches with a children's play area in the middle and units parked sideways on to the middle.
There was free, fast, wi-fi over the whole site, and Yolanda at the reception desk was really helpful.
Like much of the Netherlands the whole area is bike-friendly and there are cycle paths in all directions, with the nearest beach and town being about half a mile away.

Excellent site. Caters for all units and is 50% static and 50% touring. Approach road is good and access is easy. All roads hard surfaced.
Facilities are very high standard and everything you need is available.
Reception and staff all very friendly and accommodating. We had fully serviced with private bathroom, really nice and having bathroom on pitch ( shower, toilet, sink) also useful for storage.
Pitches are generally grass with the vans going in continental style. Some services are a stretch away but they were there.
They are big on bikes here and there is large bike barn for the cycling stuff. Cycling and walking is superb in this region, endless trails and routes connect every village town and city.
Local beaches were fabulous, uncrowded and usually have a beach bar, showers, food etc. We were fortunate with the weather having two week of sunshine virtually every day. Local towns are good for a visit for lunch and some high end shopping in Sluis.
The harbor and beach area in Cadzand (1 mile away)are nice with one supermarket, numerous artisan/beach shops, and half a dozen bars/restaurants. Pub in Retranchement is walk-able and very good for food. Parking is generally easy and traffic very light.
Although 3/4 full the site was very quiet but we managed to avoid the half term hols so very few children but they do lots of child orientated activities and stuff so I think this would be quite lively in the summer.
An excellent stay, highly recommended, their website is not available in English but don't be put off, everyone speaks fluent English and the E-booking system is easy.

This well maintained and friendly campsite is situated next to a nature reserve and a dog friendly beach.
The resort of Cadzand Bad with its shops, bars and restaurants is a short walk or cycle ride away. There are excellent bike trails in all directions and as it stands on the border with Belgium, Bruges is also close.
The owners are friendly and helpful and all facilities are modern and spotlessly clean. There are full motorhome facilities. There is a play area for children and also some rabbits.
The site is on a working farm and has an open aspect across fields. The pitches are spacious and there are a number of picnic benches dotted around.
Although only planning to use this site as a one night stopover, we returned to spend a few days more as we enjoyed it so much. We will be returning.
