 We enjoyed this large, peaceful, rural campsite just a short distance from St Merryn and a few minutes drive from Padstow.
The pitches are very spacious and situated (mostly) around the edge of the field so you're not facing anyone.
The field is sloping but a lot of pitches are level and all except those right at the bottom of the field get wonderful views all around.
There are hot showers, clean toilets and a kitchen/laundry room.
There is plenty of play space for children with a purpose built play area.
Recommended for those who like nature all around them with a few home comforts.

We stayed here one night it was great as it allowed us to bring all our dogs with us (which we have 7 of) The owner was friendly and welcoming and we have booked again
Close to Padstow and walking distance from St Merryn if you don't feel like cooking. There is also a Tesco superstore 10 minute drive away. The facilities were also immaculate.

If you want a nice quiet peaceful site we would recommend Trewithen Caravan and Camping site. We stayed 10 nights here, admittedly the weather was fantastic which helps, but it would have been nice whatever the weather.
The site has toilet / shower block, also a washing machine, all you really need. There is no shop, which was no big deal, the owner was very friendly and approachable and the tariff very reasonable.
St. Merryn is only 5 mins away for a shop or there is a Tesco store nearer to Padstow. Within a mile of the site there is a pub, doing the usual pub grub and local beer.
The pitches are big so you won’t be cramped up with your fellow campers, also there is a play area for kids.
