Very negative arrival from owner as we had forgotten to notify them about our recently adopted rescue dog which meant we had 2 dogs instead of 1 which we had already booked.
Very helpful and pleasant gentleman showed us to our pitch though.
Toilet block was very dated and not very pleasant continually flooded with water and full of bugs, spiders and cobwebs, cracked tiles.
Location to beach and shops was very good though.
We were told we couldn't walk together on the campsite with our dogs and wouldn't be allowed to stay next year with 2 dogs by the which ruined our stay.
I would not return.

This is a small site with cramped pitches which are tight to access so not good for large units.
The sanitary blocks are very dated and cleaned out daily with huge hoses, leaving everywhere soaking wet.
The proprietor was downright rude.
We had hoped to spend a week due to proximity of the beach (walk through an access gate to one side of the site then down a sandy lane) but his attitude was not at all welcoming and his manner simply obnoxious. Good manners cost nothing.
We would not return.

This is an amazing site, clean and so close to beach you can hear the sea.
The owners Patrick and Geraldine make you feel welcome and go out of their way to help you settle in.
We have travelled all over France in our campervan, but now only want to stay on this site, as its paradise.

A traditional and peaceful site just 100m (direct site access) from a clean, sandy beach in the charming little resort of St Clair, on the outskirts of Le Lavandou. The beach has restaurants and ice cream sellers, but St Clair village has local shops for bread and most needs about a 10 minute walk away. Supermarkets can be found a few kilometres away the other side of Lavandou.
The facilities are clean and well kept, with electric or gas bbq's allowed on the pitch or a couple of communal areas for charcoal lovers like us. We liked having a water tap per pitch and free Wi-Fi, plus the well-screened emplacements make it very secluded. There is TV, ping pong and a games room, but the main attraction has to be the lovely beach and the clear sea for swimming right on the doorstep.
The owners were very welcoming and we would certainly stay here again as we felt very relaxed and safe.
