 Useful Municipal stopover on the way north, right near the centre of the village on the grounds of an old château, since demolished. Popular with Dutch campers, as it's close to the A31 motorway on the Luxembourg/Limburg route. Satnav may respond to commune name of Val de Meuse rather than Montigny, the name of village.
Signage on local roads could be improved; the road up to the site goes back on the left from rue Hubert Collet (D2420), so from the autoroute best to choose the D417 (there's a three-way fork at the start of the village); on to the next junction and turn back following campsite signs.
The site wraps round the castle hill in a long loop, with large pitches off either side on terraces, all with electric. Water points are like village pumps; you need to hold the button for quite a while before the flow begins. One good toilet block, clean and well maintained, with coin-op laundry as well as usual services; and a set of tennis courts nearby.
Some pitches have ground reinforcement; we were there during the floods in central France, and some motorhomes were stuck on muddy pitches. The staff were wonderful in dragging people off with the campsite van. Very welcoming; good English spoken. Snack bar near reception, which we didn't try.
The main town square was being redeveloped while we were there, so we never got to explore local facilities.
