Lovely location right next to Ashridge, Northchurch common.
Very basic, toilets water and fires allowed.
Lovely small site.
We walked down to the Artisan pub not far and great food.
Will definitely be back

Not suitable for families in my opinion
The site is hazardous- rubble and scrap around and strangers walking right through the site regularly as well as a hidden pond
Dog sh*t everywhere !
I didn’t want to believe the bad review before we went but wish I had, this campsite is pretty grim and certainly not suitable for young children
We had to move two bits of dog sh*t just to pitch our tent,
There is a massive fallen down building with rubble all round,
The campsite basically looks at a scrap yard not ideal
We will not be coming here again !
Also expensive for what it was - it was £10 per person and he even charged for my daughter who is 5??? Is that normal? So we ended up paying £60 for two nights!
I wouldn’t even say the guy was “friendly” as described by other reviews just came and got the cash and a quick chat just normal …
Don’t bother going here unless it’s an over night stop and your standards are pretty low

Had such a fab time camping with friends here for 4 nights. Jules is such a welcoming host, and was very helpful.
The amenities are simple and clean, and it was a bargain to camp here.
Thank you

I sent a booking enquiry to this campsite but didn't hear back - shame :(
I know we're facing tricky times but it can't do their business any good. Ah well!

A great campsite!
Jules was very welcoming and the location was great for our walking trip.
We enjoyed a lovely view of the sunset and sunrise during our stay.

Place is a tip (literally). Huge smashed up static caravan welcomes you, and area immediately round pitches is strewn with rubble and waste materials.
Shame, could be lovely. Friendly enough welcome in nice area. Not expensive. Very basic facilities.

A lovely little campsite and great value for money. I stayed for 1 night with 10 friends and it was perfect.
The location was gorgeous and everyone was very welcoming. The outside toilets were also an added bonus!

Fantastic little site, the amenities are basic but the views were amazing,
The atmosphere was peaceful, being on the doors of ashridge and the warm welcome we received means we will be back again.
Really good value for money
