 We were rather disappointed with this site. We always book CL sites as we enjoy the peace & quiet that they offer but this site left us feeling underwhelmed.

There is no phone signal whatsoever which shouldn’t be an issue as they offer free WiFi. However the WiFi is virtually non-existent. We didn’t want to download anything or stream anything but just to be able to stay in touch with a vulnerable family member at home. It was impossible. The connection came and went for less than 20 seconds at a time. We queried this with the owner who said it can be patchy.

The site looks into a field but there’s no view. It’s not really what we were expecting.

It’s very close to Marlborough but despite this, is very peaceful & quiet.

The owner was very friendly but we wouldn’t stay again.

 A delightful CL site set in rural Wiltshire with spacious pitches on a slight slope, overlooking fields and West Wood so lots of pretty walks to find directly from the site.

Tom who owns the CL is very helpful and attentive & while we were there daily put out fresh produce from his garden (for a small donation to the Air Ambulance).

The phone signal wasn't good but there was free WiFi.

The CL is just a short drive from the pretty town of Marlborough & close to Avebury with all its fascinating history. We also visited the amazing Littlecote Roman Villa (free to enter) & had some lovely walks along the Kennet & Avon Canal which was a short drive away.

We would highly recommend this site and look forward to returning.
