 Came here again this year for the market.
The lady on reception allocated us a pitch, but despite asking for one in the shade, it wasn't that shaded, there were other empty pitches nearby that were much more shaded.
The pool was good in the heat, that had a shaded area that was very pleasant.
Gives ACSI discount.

The previous reviewer has given a fair description of the site.
We arrived during the lunchtime closure, but reception reopened at 2 so we didn't have to wait too long. No fob required for the barrier, your car reg opens it automatically once you are booked in.
We were invited to choose our own pitch, there were plenty available, though the riverside ones were mainly full. The sanitary block was cleaned in the morning, there are 2 sides all unisex so were closed in turn.
Cycled into the town which is very nice. Huge market on Thursdays.
We could only stay 1 night this trip, but will probably return.

Set in a beautiful spot on the banks of the river just outside Nyons. The reception closes at 11. 45 on the dot and reopens at 15. 00. No leeway whatsoever. Internal roads are very tight and awkward.
The pitches are of a reasonable size and all marked out by hedging, having both water and electric points, standard european (blue) plugs, at the corners. The ground is flat and very hard, needing rock pegs and a lump hammer for pegging out.
Entrance into and out of the site is by using electronic fob, for which there is a €20 deposit.
The sanitaires are clean and modern but suffer from the fact that the “hot” water is lukewarm at best, and downright cold at other times.
There is wifi available but is so slow that it does not warrant its purchase. You can pop into Nyons, go to the tourist office, look at your emails and return to the campsite, before the page would have loaded.
From the campsite there is a lane that leads, steeply, into the top of the old town, so avoiding the busy D94. This is particularly useful for the Thursday market.
The site is annoying. It is in a beautiful spot by the river, just outside a beautiful, vibrant town but has lukewarm welcome, lukewarm water and lukewarm wifi. There are several better sites in the area, but none is as convenient.
