Site is easy to access, we have 7. 5m motorhome, but final part of route is narrow cycle route and site is tucked away in woods.
Site approx. 80 touring pitches spread over a large woodland area on the edge of town of Oisterwijk. Site has approx. 120 static caravans/camping huts/permanent residents on site. Reception is manned during day and early evening. Owners speak good English and are very helpful, payment is made on arrival. 25. 00 euro for 2 adults and for motorhome/caravan per night. Credit cards are taken. No extra charge for awnings or pets. Pitches allocated by owner at check in. Site and surrounding parks info leaflet and map is supplied, other leaflets are available in reception.
All grass pitches, fully serviced, individual GB type electric hook-up points (16 amp), per pitch. Water/grey waste drain also per pitch. Some pitches have screened hedging between them, large and good space from adjacent pitch.
Toilet block, is near site entrance and have individual male & female toilet cubicles, (toilet paper included, hand dryers not included) & separate individual shower cubicles albeit housed in a common area. The showers have push button operation on a timer good mix hot water and do not need tokens. No heating in toilets, were kept clean during our stay. There are 4 dish washing sinks, 2 veg prep sinks, 2 clothes hand wash sinks, loads of hot water. There is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a motorhome service point with water & grey waste empty drain just past toilet block on the right. CWP adjacent to toilet block, outside on right hand side. Site has WiFi, which is included in pitch price and has extensive coverage over site. 3G mobile coverage is good for all UK operators using Dutch partner networks. Large children’s play area adjacent to reception. There is a large parkland area adjacent to site with loads of walks. Dog walk area on edge of site in parkland.
We were here in early October & the site was noisy and busy at the weekend with loads of families in the static caravans, really a site more suited for families not couples but worth a visit for the surrounding park/woodlands. Had about 30 other tourers, mostly Dutch and were well distributed over the site so some empty pitches between. Site was a bit quieter during the week.
Walks from site are excellent, well sign posted through the extensive woodlands and around lakes, cycle paths and tracks likewise.

Lovely quiet park situated next to a nature reserve. There are static caravans and chalets at the rear of the park and the touring area comprising 90 pitches is at the front. Pitches are spacious and many are arranged in tree lined avenues. However, although these are touring pitches a great many of them are seasonal pitches, thereby reducing the pitches available. We were lucky on arrival towards the end of August to be given the last available pitch, so it would probably be advisable to ring or email the site before arrival.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a takeaway and restaurant in high season and also a small shop selling bread and essentials, although this was only open between 9-11am at the time of our visit. There are supermarkets in nearby Oisterwijk.
Amenities were all in one block and were clean and welcoming. Dishwashing and laundry sinks were in the centre of the block with ladies toilets and showers arranged on one side of the block and gents on the other. Showers are push button and not adjustable but were always a good temperature. Facility block was warm with a small radiator in each shower cubicle. There is a room each with four washbasins for both men and women and also one privacy cubicle on each side. Toilet paper and soap provided but no hand drying facilities. There is a small room at the rear housing washing machines and a dryer and also ironing facilities.
Wifi was free across the site, but we found it to be very slow and on most evenings after about 9. 30pm we were unable to connect. It was sufficient to check emails etc, but nothing more demanding.
There are several restaurants close by, although we did not visit them and also mini golf. The site has a children's playground.
The area is excellent for both cycling and walking with maps for both activities available at reception. There is a network of cycle paths using numbered node points and a similar system for walking routes making navigation very easy.
We cycled to Tilburg, a small city with shopping amenities and a pleasant square where there are several café’s etc, for either a drink or a meal. On another day we cycled to Den Bosch, which is a lovely city worth a visit. It has the largest cathedral in Holland and several museums to visit as well as lots of pavement cafes and restaurants and a good selection of shops.
The Drunense Duinen is a lovely area which we also visited by bike.
Price for the site in late August 2015 using ACSI card was €20, including tourist taxes.

We pre-booked a night here in a Hikers Hut on our summer 2016 roadtrip from the UK to Sweden and having driven up from Ghent found check in here very easy despite the receptionist knowing very little English and my Dutch being non-existent. Travelling with my two teenage boys and our dog, we only had one night we didn't explore a great deal but found the local town a short drive away ideal for food shopping (pay to park outside). The hut we stayed in was located next to the Toilet and Shower block but we didn't find this was a problem. This service block was spotless with plenty of hot water for showers. The hut itself was more than ample for our overnight stay and I would not hesitate in returning for a longer break.
