 Just off the old N44 (now the D1044) between St. Quent1n and Laon, accessible from junction 11 of the A26, this small municipal site is a good overnighter as it is about 2-3 hours from Calais.
The site is in the municipal sports facility, the approach is through a residential area, reasonably well signposted. On arrival the gates will probably be shut but not locked. Let yourselves in and go to the Guardiens house. The campsite 'reception' is his front hall! He will then show you to your pitch.
The pitches are reasonably sized and hedge marked. Some have trees in the middle of them which are great for shade but can make things a bit tight. The campsite has never had more than two or three units on it when we have been so parking the car on an adjacent pitch has not been a problem.
The facilities are OK, individual male and female showers and toilets along with a dishwashing and laundry area.
There are water taps around the site, chemical disposal at the facilities block and more rubbish bins than we've seen on any other site in France!
The site is quite close to the main road, there is a bit of traffic noise but it's not too obtrusive.
