Chose this site from the ACSI book as it wasn't too far to drive after the market in Isle sur la Sorgue. It is situated not far from a main road, just past the old village. The site is on a quite steep hillside and is a series of terraces.
When we arrived, we had to wait for reception to open, there is a barrier.
We were shown a map on the wall with areas of pitches to choose from, but by the time we brought the van in and drove round, it was difficult to remember just where they were. We ended up above the cafe/pool area, where the pitches are long and thin. We had the end one, which made it easier to sit out, but the other pitches quickly filled up and those people seemed cramped. When we walked round, we found better pitches that we could have used.
The sanitary block was modern and clean.
We cycled from the entrance, following a signed route, which took us on a pleasant, though hilly, route up over the hill and down into the village. Didn't see any shops. Cycled back along the main road, which wasn't very pleasant, but short.
Wouldn't want to spend any longer here, there's little to do from the site.

Used this site as a stopover returning from Spain as it's open all year.
First impression is that it's a bit scruffy and in need of some TLC.
It was cold in early March and with no heating on in the toilet/shower block it was far too cold to use.
The pitches on the upper level whilst long were very narrow.
Will not be back.

Returned to this site after a near 3 year absence. The owners have completed the work mentioned below and there is now a new sanitary block. The pitches at the bottom of the site have been cleared and are easier to access but a lot of them have had mobile homes placed on them. All the other comments we have made below are still relevant.
As before we think this a good site for a 1 or 2 night stopover en route North or South being a short distance off the motorway and we will use it again with our ACSI Card.

We were looking for a site off the A7 motorway on our way home from the South of France and found this site in the ACSI book. The book states you can leave the motorway at Junction 19 and go through Bollene picking up the D26 to Mondragon and following the camping signs. However the campsite website states you can also use Junction 18 coming from the north at peak times or Junction 20 from the south.
On arriving at the campsite you will find a parking area just before the gates which I think they prefer you to use as quite a few people drove up to the gates and blocked the one lane entry/exit road. Booking in was quite straightforward and the owner appreciated us using a bit of French. This site is open all year and has designated pitches for motorhomes and caravans who are only staying for 1 or 2 nights. The pitches are on the small side but as you are only here for a short time it does not matter and they are all hardstanding so can be used all year. Some are sloping so you may want to get your levellers out.
This is a typical French rural wooded site, laid back with reasonable amenities. It has a pool which looked very good and even had a slide for kids but it was closed during our visit as was the restaurant and bar so we cannot comment on these, reception stocks a small range of food and local wines for sale at ok prices. Reasonable quality free Wi-Fi available to use, ask at reception for the entry codes.
There are water taps situated around the site but these are of the push button type which is common in this area of France. There is however a proper tap at the Motorhome Service Point. Electricity is rated at 10 amps which would be handy in winter.
There are two sanitary blocks providing all the usual amenities but they could do with an upgrade. One was closed while we were there but they started demolishing it and a new block is going to be built over the winter in time for the 2017 main season. Other work was also starting we believe to improve some of the pitches.
Overall we thought this a good site for a 1 or 2 night stopover en route North or South being a short distance off the A27 and we will use it again. Being open all year with hard gravel pitches it is a good choice for motorhomer’s and indeed for those of you with caravans.
