We stayed here in early August 2024 and absolutely loved it!
It’s no frills but has everything you need - toilet blocks (male/female and mixed), washing up facilities, freezer facilities, showers, a water point, a portable toilet waste disposal point and domestic waste point.
I love sitting in my camping chair in the evening sun, listening to the sounds of an evening camp - the delighted squeals of children playing together, adults laughter and chatter and the smell of open fire cooking wafting across the camp!
It’s a 10 minute walk from Cromer town shops and 15 minutes walk from the beach front!
Looking forward to return next year!

Others have said it - I don't want to give it a good review in case too many others discover this fabulous site!
Free of prescribed camping pitches, so great you're camping with a bunch of mates.
All the basics that you need on site plus all of Cromer within a few minutes safe walk.
I keep going back, inspite of hating to go to the same place twice. This site has a wonderfully "gentle" approach to camping. You won't see the camping police with their tape measures or fire extinguishers.
The facilities are always clean and looked after by both the staff and the campers. So, unless you expect electric hookups, on site bar and pool, evening entertainment and people dressed as furry animals.
This site is perfect!

Very clean facilities, friendly staff.
Toilets are cleaned twice a day, showers were hot no ques.
Had an exceptional two weeks stay, weather was sunny and warm,
Cromer is the ideal seaside town, other beaches nearby.

Brilliant back to basics campsite. Friendly welcome on arrival, plenty of choice of spaces to pitch your tent (no electric hook up). I'd opt for the left hand side of the field as the hedge will shield you and its quite flat.
Good clean facilities toilets, showers, kitchen area for washing up, freezers and plugs sockets (often used to charge phones/power banks).
The location is fantastic! You've got a Zoo and fruit picking on the door step plus a playground, skate park and Morrison's supermarket close by. Your also within walking distance to Cromer town centre, pier and beach.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend. You really can't go wrong, incredible value for money.

This is a great, back to basics site. It is just a field with a 2 shower/ toilet blocks and a washing up block (all of which are on wheels so can be towed onto the site).
It is very cheap and only a short walk into Cromer, we often stay at a site about 2 miles up the coast but this has everything you need at half the price
It is inland from the town so you don't get the cliff top views that other sites in the area have, however you are also sheltered from the wind which can be a real plus!
For a base to explore the North Norfolk Coast and wider countryside you can't go wrong with Cromer Camping. It's just a shame that its open for 6 weeks per year!
