 What a find! A fabulous CL only 5 miles from the coast in a flat peaceful haven surrounded by woodland and wildlife.
There is also a picturesque small lake with an abundance of roach and high single figure carp.
Tony and Sharon are superb hosts full of helpful information and the facilities are spotless.
The Old Chequers pub is within walking distance and does meals and a cracking pint of locally brewed Batemans but the opening hours are short so check first.
Loads of paths to walk and flat country lanes to cycle along.
So a gem of a little site but please save one of the grass pitches near the lake for our next visit!

This is a second review first 2019 this one 2020, as said on last review Tony and Sharon are super hosts, this time the shower and toilet were closed due to Covid 19 but no big deal just used vans,
Fishing just as good as before lots of nice people in thier vans,
This is a site you must try at least once, after that it will be one you will go back to again and again,
All local resorts are easy to get to, all shopping close to, Access onto site is easy my unit is 34 foot long with car and I get in easy, No narrow lanes to worry about,
£10 a night and you pay for electric, so in summer its next to nowt,
I have been in a tourer since 1971 and this is one of the best I have used,
And if you fish you are in heaven.
Give it a go you will not regret it.
Forgot to mention it is ADULTS only, because of the open water there are two lakes to fish.

This is one of the best sites we have stayed on and we only use 5 van sites and have stayed on lots, most good-- some not so. Tony and Sharon are top people the welcome they give you is second to none.
The fishing is top notch and the fish in top condition. Toilet and shower on site all resorts in easy distance to get to, the site is very quite, grass neatly cut, electric is on a meter but tony only charges what he has to pay, and the Bonus is its only £10 a night and for 17 nights we only used £1. 70 a night for electric. And we did not be careful on how we used it.
If you are looking for a really good five van site with nice owners book in to MAYFIELDS
PS its not a fishery anymore the fishing is for people staying on site. To get more info on fishing talk to Tony. First visit for us, This is now the site we will always use when in Skeggy area, that's if we can get back in.
