Used this site as a one night stopover on our way to the ferry at Poole. Received a friendly welcome with everything explained to us.
Spacious pitches around the edge of small field. Recently refurbished shower room and also a separate toilet were both lovely and clean. Shower was £1 for a good period of time.
Area looked lovely and we wouldn't hesitate to return for a longer stop.

We booked a week at Old Farm CL in August. In hindsight wish we had stayed longer!
Easy access from the A31 (approx. 1 ½ miles along good quality roads). Follow directions in the CAMC book. As we have a long, twin axle caravan we parked in Gorley Road, close to the junction of Cowpitts Lane to be able to open the gates which are normally closed.
We were met by Rob who pointed out our large, grass pitch and the whereabouts of the site’s facilities. These include two toilets (one with a walk-in shower – cost £1. 00 / 5 minutes), a book exchange, recycling, water and Elsan point.
Although the pitches themselves are unmarked they are large, flat and with sufficient space to enable you to pitch a large caravan and awning plus car without interfering on your neighbours pitch.
The field was closely mowed and in good condition during our stay despite the torrential rain on Sunday! There is 10 amp electricity (With the ability to re-set if tripped) and has free WiFi on all pitches although the connection did vary at times. There are chickens in an enclosure (We were met by a chicken that had escaped!) and found Rob and Candice to be really friendly and only too willing to help. They have an information pack which is available on request. Although they live next to the CL their mobile numbers are available should you need to contact them for anything.
The area is ideal for cycling and walking – access to the New Forest is a short bike ride away. For bird spotting Blashford Lakes is a 10 minute drive from the CL – binoculars are definitely recommended.
Further afield you will find shopping in nearby Ringwood and Bournemouth is less than half an hour by car. There is also a Tesco Express within walking distance from the CL.
Trips to Burley, Bolderwood, the Ornamental Drive, Brockenhurst and Lyndhurst should not be missed – all are definitely recommended.
In conclusion we had a very pleasant stay at Old Farm CL and will definitely return again in due course.

This is the second time we have visited this CL and do so after a couple of weeks of heavy rain. We managed to get our motorhome onto a grass pitch with the help of our grip mats but the next motorhome to arrive did not make it and had to be towed out of the mud by a very helpful caravanner onto one of the two hard standings.
It is perfect site for us as we have friends living locally who pick us up in their car. There is a bus service nearby about 5 minute walk away as is Tesco and Fish and chip shop.
Shower and toilet kept very clean but we take our own stick on soap dish as there is not one in the shower.
One small comment, it would be nice to have a grab handle in the shower as some of us 'oldies' are not as steady on our feet as we used to be.
Once again thanks to Rob and Candace for a lovely few days.

Just spent 4 nights at this very nice CL. Two new toilets and one shower installed this year and kept spotless. Would be nice to have shower installed in space in 2nd toilet as could then be classified male and female. Appreciate this all costs but perhaps idea for future.
The CL is easy to find and there is a Tesco and fish and chip shop within 10 minutes walk from the site. The owners Rob and Candace are very nice, friendly people even though Rob turned the water off, as I was about to shower, to repair a leak. Ha Ha I said I would get my own back by telling everyone :-).
Over all a very nice stay at a very nice CL. Thank you both we will be back if you`ll have us.

This delightful CL site is located in North Poulner nestling next to the New Forest. The site itself is mostly grass but there is an option for one, maybe two units to stay on hard standing in wetter weather. All pitches have electric. There is a very clean toilet available for guests, the hand towel was changed on a daily basis. There is an unclassified road (width restriction of 6'6') running alongside the site with light traffic whilst we were there; it is also the best route to pick up cycle routes in the New Forest There is a junior school a few hundred yards away In an adjoining road and I imagine it could be quite busy there but only at beginning and end of school day.
The owners were very helpful and provided by email (prior to our visit) an information sheet about the site and general area. There is a Tesco Express, wine shop, fish & chip shop and local bakery (selling delicious home made bread/danish pastries/ cakes) just a flat 7-8 minute stroll from the site. Ringwood is very close by if you are looking for a slightly wider selection of shops. We didn't visit there this time but in previous visits we have been able to park our Motorhome in the car park.
We enjoy cycling and there is great access to the New Forest from the site. We were very lucky as the winter sun shone brightly for one of our rides and the scenery was quite simply stunning. We cycled through the sign posted cycle/walk ways of Linwood and surrounding woods. We visited High Corner Inn which was very popular. Unfortunately we hadn't booked and as it was New Year they were very busy so we didn't stay but would call in another time. There is an extensive play area so it is very family friendly. The nearby villages are also worth exploring with Hockey's local farm shop/cafe well worth a visit for a coffee break/ light lunch. The food is great and home made. You can pick up local fresh meat and veg supplies in their well stocked farm shop.
The site ticked lots of boxes for us: a quiet, small site with open sunny pitches or lighter shade; access to local shops and with perfect access to the New Forest and villages. This was one of the nicest sites and places we have visited recently and plan to go back soon as we still have a lot to explore.
