 Superb camperstop, the owners live in a villa next to the site. It has been extensively landscaped with gravel and raised tier above the main area. There is a motorhome service area, fresh water fill on a hose and tap and a chemical disposal.
Electric hook up on every pitch, wifi available across the site for free. There is a good shower for €1 for 5 minutes and a brand new washing machine for which its €3. At the front of the site the owners have set up an eating area with tables and chairs where you can sit and eat or drink whilst looking over the valley.
The whole site is well fenced with gates and very secure, from the entrance you can follow a canal path which takes you 15-20 km in either direction for walking and cycling. There is an English couple living nearby who take out organised walks and cycle trips into the National Park, the owner himself will hep with information on walks and rides too.
The town is less than 5 minutes drive or 15-20 minutes walk and has all the shops, supermarkets you could need.
The owner and his family have really invested in this site, its well thought out and really a cross between a very good aire and a very good campsite. The only thing it doesn't have is a toilet so you need own facilities.
€7 a night for 2 adults without electric, or €10 with electric.
