 OK, so it's July of 2017 we are three weeks into a three month tour of Europe and the fridge goes AWOL, we search online for a facility to repair and find Hidalgo in Sevilla, it's a few hours away and the tonic is warm not a good situation as we are in Ciudad Rodriguez. On arrival they strip out the old fridge test it over night and it's dead, we stay on site and they put the rings back in so we could cook some food, there was also 220v supply so we have a microwave as well, next day the lads say the fridge is dead, Neuvo? says I, Si! says my mechanic it was fitted by 1600 that day, it was hell we spent all day in the showroom buying water form the dispenser and chatting to buyers and viewers, however during the inevitable siesta time the Bosses wife ran us into town so we could have a meal and see something of the town and picked us up to return and pick up our van, these are very pleasant and helpful people and a quick this-how-it-works talk in very fast Andalucian we were back on the road. We did not get charged for our stay or for the water during our confinement and letting us wait in the offices so we could benefit from some relief from the A/C. The fridge fitted was a reject and had a slight mark in the front panel ( the fronts are changeable)and overall we paid 1500 Euros but they did test the old one (waste of time in hindsight) and the fridges had to come in and out via the cockpit as they would not go through the habitation door, having said all this if we had not gone ahead with the replacement end of holls and we were going on to Italy via south of France, we were able to continue are trip and enjoy our G&T's with ice. Good friendly well run secure and patrolled site with vigilante and dog, taxi can be phoned for if required, extensive facilities for repair of vehicle and habitation, or just a rest stop if your not as unlucky as we were, Value for money reflects the over night cost not our fridge :-}

This isn't a campsite in the true sense. However think its worth being on here for two reason.
The site / premises are just a 100 metres off the A92 heading North towards Seville.
Firstly - you can park for up to 2 nights in a safe and secure area to one side of the premises - ideal for visiting Seville. There are approx 25 places, all good sized and set out like an aire. Each has ehu and the wifi works across the area. For this you pay €10 per night including the electric and wifi. There is a chem disp, water fill and empty - you pay for the water fill (believe it was €0. 50).
They accept motorhomes, campervans and caravans.
The premises are well fenced and guarded 24 hours, the guard has a hut by the gate and will let you in and out as you need.
Second reason for adding is this a motorhome dealer, with a full parts and accessories shop and a workshop. If you have any need for a good garage or need any parts for your can this is the right place to stop.
Added to all of this its only 3-4 km into the town of Acala de Guadaira, worth a visit for the castles, white buildings, cafes shops etc. Etc.
