Well kept little campsite by a small hamlet. Very quiet and very dark skies at night.
Very good facilities. Heated sanitaires looked brand new and very clean.
Owner was very chatty and helpful.
Really lovely! Will go again.

We booked this site on the reviews I had seen on here and Facebook as it was in the ideal spot for a stop over on our way back to st malo but wished we could have stayed longer.
Mark is very helpful, brings fresh croissants, bread in the morning if you order and the pool is lovely,
Very clean facilities with a washer and fridge freezer if you needed to put ice blocks etc -
Would return as it was so peaceful and very well run

One of the nicest campsites we’ve found anywhere in France. A superb, peaceful, beautifully maintained site in a quiet rural setting, ideal for cycling, walking or visiting many of the picturesque little towns, chateaux, rivers and lakes.
The unisex shower/ toilet block also has washing up facilities, a large fridge /freezer for those in tents, and a washing machine. All were kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The pool has plenty of sun loungers and was lovely and warm. The site is very spacious with open plan pitches many with their own picnic bench and with a choice of sun or shade.
Mark, the owner is extremely welcoming and did his utmost to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The free Wi-Fi was very useful and reliable. There is a well stocked supermarket within 10 mins drive. The pitch tariffs are very reasonable particularly using our ACSI discount card.
We stayed for 10 days and can’t wait to return next year and explore more of the amazing countryside nearby.

The most pleasant of campsites located south west France
We unfortunately only stayed for 2 nights as we live local and have recently purchased a caravan and awning and we wanted to take it on a test run,
Site was so very clean both on the pitches and the lovely wc and washing facilities
The owner made us most welcome on arrival and you are not directed to any pitch as there isn't any you just pitch up where you like
Very quiet site but close to local facilities if needed
The pool was closed the time of year we went but I am guessing a great few hours can be spent poolside,
I can not fault this site at all and we will be back for a longer stay next time

Thanks for a great holiday

We absolutely loved this campsite. Really quiet and peaceful in a lovely hamlet. Lots of opportunities for cycling and walking in the immediate area. Shops and amenities within a short drive.
Plenty to see and do including canoeing/kayaking, visiting lovely chateau towns, river/lake beaches. We didn't eat out loads (by choice, not because of lack of availability) but we would recommend a lovely restaurant overlooking the river in Condac (Moulin de Condac) which does a very good lunch menu with a beautiful view.
Fresh bread delivered daily.
The owners are extremely helpful and available. The toilet and wash area was spotless throughout our stay and the beautifully kept pool was a welcome relief during the hot weather.
Our three boys (12, 14, 17) also loved the site (particularly the pool) and enjoyed exploring the area on their bikes in the evenings.
We will be back!

Superb site with a lovely couple Mark and Ildi who are always around to answer questions and give help.
Lots of good dog walking direct from the site which was of benefit for us and a small but interesting hamlet to walk around.
Very clean and tidy toilet area but is 'unisex' and combines with the washing up facilities, which would be our only pickie point if there had to be one.
Amenities like bars and restaurants are short drives away and good quality.
Would definitely recommend for short or long stays to suit couples or families.

We were looking for a stopover for a couple of nights on our way further south and choose this site because I wanted to see if it lived up to its rave reviews (even though it was a little out of our way).
Guess what, it really does. A lovely village setting, quiet, except for birdsong. Run by fantastically welcoming and helpful owners. Immaculate toilet/shower facilities.
Sparkling pool at 26C. Bread delivered daily. There is nothing to fault. So, our 2 night stay turned in 12. And we will return.

We absolutely loved this site.
We stayed last year late summer and couldn’t wait to get back as soon as possible this year
The downside to this site is that we intend to see the rest of France on our visits but never so because once we are here Always stay twice as long as we booked for because it is so perfect.
Immaculate stunning and peaceful with lots of interesting wildlife and beautiful plants.
Extremely helpful owners friendly without being intrusive.
I told them I’d love to visit a brocante they went and found where the nearest one was for us.
They’ll help with restaurant bookings if your French isn’t up to scratch.
We even got to look round the newly renovated gite. And it’s gorgeous.
I just can’t wait to get back and I’ve only just left!
You must try the local pineau.
Visit a market or Brocante
The villages of Verteuil sur Charente and Nanteuil-en-Vallée are so picturesque. Dont forget your camera.
In early summer there are fields and fields full of sunflowers
Mark and Ildi provide a comprehensive booklet with loads of information about the area and things to do so you can find what suits your needs for however energetic or relaxed you feel.
