 A new site that only opened 2 weeks ago. The first half of the site is complete and consists of 6 pitches with ehu on hard-standing. There are two showers and to toilets, plus a covered washing up area and a washing machine (€2 per load). The facilities are housed in a small house like structure built for guests - which also contains a living room area with chairs etc.
Pitch sizes are large and there are two fresh water taps, a chem disp and grey water waste area. To the rear of the site is another area awaiting development for the other 6 pitches.
Its a 5 minutes drive or 15-20 minute walk into the village of Moncarapacho, which has a daily market for meat, fish, veg and fruit - there is also two good sized supermarkets, several cafes and an amazing restaurant 'Antonio's' one of the best in the area.
The owners of the campsite, Eduardo and Ana, speak some English and are more than willing to chat and help with any questions.
Already gaining a good reputation by word of mouth in their first month a few long stayers and several vehicles doing the odd night.
We paid €8 a night with ehu - would definitely use again.
