 One of the many new small sites that have opened on the Algarve in the last couple of years. The site is accessed through a secure electronic gate for which you receive a fob (€25 deposit). There are 2 showers and 2 loos, both housed in a portacabin type building, this also has 2 washing machines and a washing up area.
Each of the pitches in on hard-standing gravel and has ehu, there is a fresh water drinking tap and both grey waste and chem disposal. The site has wifi with a good signal which is included in the price.
There is a shop a few doors away which sells fresh bread, fruit etc. Also a cafe and a restaurant on the same area.
Its a 5 minutes drive, or 20 minute walk down to Olhao a tax costs less than €3. In town there are several good supermarkets, loads of shops and bars and a terrific municipal fish market. From Olhao you can catch a boat out to any of the Ria Formosa islands.
The site feels very secure and is very peaceful, a good site for longer stays to see the area. We paid €10 per night with ehu and wifi.
