Amazing little campsite, as others have said when you arrive you drive past the owners storage units but worth it when you get to the campsite at the bottom,
Grass is immaculate
The owner Richard was rolling it one morning when we were there, he really is passionate about his grass it was beautifully kept and beautifully green,
There is a beautiful river that runs up both sides of the campsite, beautiful koi pond in the middle of the camping field, short walk across a field and down the main road to town,
Walking distance to a lovely pub and walking distance to a beautifully kept modern co op shop the campsite currently doesn't have showers just a toilet but I hear plans are underway for showers which would make an already perfect campsite even more Perfect,
Site is dog friendly too and has easy access for larger motorhomes

This is a really pleasant spot, quiet and relaxing,
Richard is a very amiable chap,
All in all, we had a lovely time doing very little.
Ideally situated for us to visit friends in Gillingham.

Good instructions to find site and the field is level with grass and hardstanding.
Flower bed and pond in the middle of the field making a pleasant outlook.
You do need to pass the owners storage yard to access the camping area which is off putting on your first visit.
Used our own facilities due to Covid 19.
Very helpful owner who lent us a caravan step.

A nice site and easy to find, as per their website. There are 2 huge areas of hardstanding for winter use and a large grass area, attractively landscaped, for dry times.
The entrance driveway is a bit off putting, with many stored caravans and motorhomes, plus old machinery etc, but it's fine once you are in.
There is a hardstanding area next to the loos (old but reasonably clean, apart from the floors), where there are several what looks like permanent residents.
It's about 3 miles from the A303, so a good stopover and would be handy for short stays in good weather. Gillingham is only about a mile away for supermarkets and fuel.
£12 per night is a bargain and we would certainly use the site again. Mr. Light the owner is very pleasant when you finally meet him.
