Nice site generally but dogs barking most of the nights from neighbouring houses,
The staff were very helpful
The toilet blocks look new but inside very dated but a good hot shower

We used this as a stopover to visit Obidos. We intended to stay one night but stayed seven as it really is a brilliantly placed and well run site.
It's just under 5 km from Obidos, the campsite owner will taxi you in and out of the town for a couple of Euro, he also does several other trips in the area on a small minibus.
Pitches are large, hard-standing all with ehu. There is a drive-over motorhome service point and a chem. Loo emptying. Two showers, €1 for 4 minutes, good and hot but a bit quick! Two toilets, always clean as is the whole site.
There is a washing machine and dryer and a washing up sink. Wifi across the site for €1 per night and a swimming pool. Electric is metered, we used approx €2 per night, not using anything excessive.
The German family who own the site speak excellent English and are always on hand to help out with questions, run the mini-bus service etc.
Other places to visit in the area are Peniche, Baleal surfing beaches and Eden - a magnificent Buddha and sculpture gardens.
We paid €8 per night plus the electric, showers and wifi - still came in a very good price considering quality and location of site. Would recommend without hesitation to see a really stunning part of Portugal.
