 Loved everything cant complain
Mainly the weather was bad but didn't stop us enjoying ourselves with our hostess and host patricia and patrick
They made us feel welcome on arrival and looked after our needs, shopping and taking us too see xmas market at palacio do gelo
They've been magnificent ambassadors couldn't ask for better couple

A perfect little camperstop in the North of Portugal. We chose it due to proximity to the Ecopista cycle trail which runs from Viseu 54 km down to a few km from the campsite.
The campsite is owned by a very helpful Dutch couple, on arrival fresh brewed coffee and a chat with them is a welcome change from popping your own kettle on.
Good hot shower, washing machine and drier, wifi, free bread ddelivered daily (6 rolls every morning of the most wonderful bread), ehu. Water fill and empty, chem disposal, small swimming pool, bbq area - there really is everything you could every need.
The pitches are not enormous but they are a good size, as there are only a few its best to ring in advance as am sure it gets very busy.
All of this cost us €10 per night - all inclusive - its fabulous and has to be one of our best every stops and without doubt our best value.
The site owner offers a service to transport your bikes up to Viseu so you can cycle back (its more downhill in that direction and also saves you doing the full 100+km). It costs €20 to have the bikes and you taken up to the start - best €20 spent in months - a brilliant off-road cycle path.
The city of Coimbra is only 30 minutes away, well worth visiting as are the any of the several convents in the area, or the mountain villages.
