Excellent size pitches, Friendly people, very clean facilities,
Quite remote for travelling into Cardiff, taxi cost between £45/50.
Very narrow lanes at some points, and some noise from Cardiff airport…
But overall would book again

Really peaceful site in the beautiful countryside,
Loved the recycling area and lovely showers.
Close to bus stops for Cardiff and Barry - couple of pubs within walking distance and a premier shop.

Site was fabulous. Matthew who runs it with his family was prompt meeting us on arrival. Left to select our own pitch.
Lovely and quiet with some lovely views.
Facilities excellent despite having temporary toilet and showers. Always clean always hot water and always toilet rolls and hand washing soap.
Used site to visit children and grandchildren who live in Barry and there was issues about them being on site with us.
Truly a great site to visit.
Will be back again next year for visits to family.

Quite, peaceful site on a working farm (so some tractor and cow noises are heard obvs) with some great views.
No facilities for keeping kids entertained but plenty on offer nearby with beaches, city shopping and countryside in easy reach.
Just off a main road but surprisingly quiet. Walking distance of a garden centre with cafe and (bit further) village with a selection of pubs offering food.
Shower block is tired but I’m told it’s due a complete refurb winter 2022 thankfully. Timed showers are 50p! Pot washing is 2 sinks but uncovered so not good in wet weather.
Hopefully that’ll be sorted too.
Definitely recommend as spent 2 separate occasions here this summer now so definitely a good place for a holiday or just a weekend chill.

Loved it. Good bus routes into cardiff and barry.
Staff very helpful, and a lovely picturesque site.
We would stay again and recommend it to others.
The feeling of the site and the owners was one of a very friendly site.

Very good campsite, welcoming and helpful staff.
We used the campsite as a base near Cardiff to attend the 2022 Rammstein Stadium Tour. (Brilliant). The campsite is on the main Barry to Cardiff route so buses are fairly frequent from very close to the campsite into Cardiff.
We managed to get a bus to and from stadium. A bit tight for the last bus back 2240. The campsite was spacious mostly grassed which is what we like.
There is a hardstanding area but it is small and very rough looking anyway, not appealing.
There is a field at the entrance which could be used for dog exercising. And there are pavements and road side paths near the park.
There appear to walking rights of way in the area but all required climbing over a style, not practical with a dog.
The site was quiet but there are still shopping centres fairly close by.
We would certainly use this site again if visiting Cardiff.

Lovely quiet location.
10 minute walk to bus stop for Cardiff
Never used the shower which is 50p
Toilets clean but no toilet roll left in 1 by sunday morning
Paper hand towels in the toilets would be nice
Needs a bin in the toilets - rubbish left on the toilet.
I would go back again

Well presented site on a working farm. Basic toilet/ showers (50p) bit dated but adequate and clean.
Advertised as Certified 5 van site but also has larger campsite licence alongside, divided into separate areas. Didn't bother us, but might for those expecting a 5 van site.
Quiet location with no road noise, perfect for our weekend stay. Will definitely be back.
