Very shabby neglected and basically dirty site. Pictures were very misleading. The grass is patchy, there are caravans being stored at one end, easily visible, pitches are just about an adequate size.
The toilet facility is the dirtiest and unappealing I have ever encountered. We were expecting so much more from this site, very disappointed.
The area is good to reach places like Lyme Regis and Sidmouth, and the surrounding countryside is lovely, but there are no views on the site worthy of looking at, unless you like looking at other caravans where they seem to be being used by local workers or something.
We never saw the owner on the site, no information about the local area, so all in all this is to be avoided, it is not deserving of your custom.

The site was easy to find and found a nice location on site with all facilities as described.
The owner made us welcome and the site was tidy and relaxing.
The town was about 10mins by car, where there was bars, cafe and shops.
As the site is out of town, its essentially a very peaceful site with plenty of flora and bird song.

We have just returned from our stay Forton House and we have nothing but praise for the site. It has electric, water and waste to each pitch and there are pitches with hard standing or grass. Each pitch has plenty of space for car, caravan and awning.
There is a shower and toilet but due to the COVID we used our own facilities.
We really enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in returning if we were to visit this area again. The information provided by the owner was excellent never had this from a CL site before.

Small site and owner very helpful and friendly,
Facilities were fine, great shower with plenty of hot water, although we reckoned that just one room with all washing and loo facilities would certainly not be adequate if the site had any more people on it.
There were just two couples during our stay.

Lovely site, very peaceful with a variety of birdsong. The facilities, shower and loo, were very clean. Electric on all pitches, water tap and drainage on some.
The only problem while I was there, was that there were roadworks on the major routes, so much of the local traffic reverted to the narrow lanes, and with no pavements in the immediate area, it meant getting to the public footpaths was quite treacherous.
Hopefully once the roadworks have gone, the narrow roads will be much quieter and far less dangerous.
The owners were extremely accommodating, and I wouldn't hesitate to book there again.
