Best camping experience for couples! We camped over August bank holiday weekend - very hot! and enjoyed some great routes for walking/running, visiting Brighton, pub within walking distance - Ginger Fox, was a great find, even had a little paddle in the canoes by the lake (free). Site is also only a short drive to Brighton which is always helpful.
Thoroughly recommend for couples who are after a quiet get away and love to explore new places - it really does wonders. Toilets, on site water, firewood, community tent, and shower all well maintained and stocked, and most importantly a very lovely host who came round for a chat every morning.
Will be booking early next Summer!

Spent a lovely weekend at this beautiful unspoilt location next to a lake and vineyard. Plenty of space to pitch your tent and great to be able to have your own open fire with good quality wood available to buy by the bag. Compost toilets were clean and well equipped. Pop up site off grid with minimal facilities was extremely enjoyable. A friendly little place and Bridget our host was very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be returning next year!

This is one of the nicest places I have ever camped. I loved the ethos of the place, that it has been set up to be social if want that. I was very fortunate to meet some lovely new people, great location next to a lake, peaceful, fun, lovely food and Bridget was a lovely host!

This was an idyllic location amongst fields of vines - a beautiful sunset, peaceful and very well set up. I had taken loads of things, but actually just needed myself and food.
We chatted with people we had not met before so a very social evening. Thanks Bridget
