 Sadly this was the worst campsite we stayed at on our German tour
Very rundown, needing an extensive refurbishment. The staff surly and miserable. Come on try smiling
The other guests, mainly Dutch were friendly but the regulars just stared at us as if we came from Mars
The rules were ridiculous, the wash up area closed after 8pm, charge for showers
Don't bother unless desperate
If you enjoy trains, this is the place for you
Drinking water unavailable after 10pm

Excellent site and motorhome pitches, all on the riverbank. Reception was good (and helpful), site restaurant is well worth a visit. Toilets and showers all top notch.
A great place, either for a short stay or a longer stop. Bacharach is a superb medieval town with much to see and do.
This was our 5th time here, which says it all really.

Ditto on the previous review.
Ideally situated on the banks of the Rhine with public transport including ferries to towns along the river within a very short & flat walking distance.
We only stayed a night on our way home but the area is well worth a longer stay.
The town of Bacharach is an absolute delight.

Well located site on the banks of the Rhine.
Nice beach and swimming area, clean facilities and a bar on site.
Busy site with some pitches quite tight.
Lovely town within easy walking distance.
