 Great friendly welcome with a well needed coffee.
Nice rustic site clean showers, second visit here for a chill out couple of days.
Great information about surrounding area could do with a bar in the village.

Lovely site with very friendly and helpful owners. Ian and Julie are very knowledgable about the local area and helped us with advice on day trips and local towns. Etc
The site is ideally located for trips to Lassay-les-Chateaux being only 10 minuets away. The facilities were excellent and we had no issues.
I would definitely recommend this site to anyone who wanted to visit the area.

Returned to this site this year and received another grand welcome. The site is now becoming more established with hedging planted between pitches and a small communal area in the barn with seating and an exchange library.
The pitches are flat and must be well drained, as it rain a lot but the ground remained solid.
There is some lovely towns within a short drive and countryside all around.

Very friendly owners Ian and Julie who welcomed us with a cup of tea and provided an extremely useful booklet about the area (local markets, sights etc).
There's several interesting towns/villages nearby, eg Bagnoles and Domfront, so excellent touring centre. A fabulous auberge with great meals at low prices in easy walking distance. The site is very new so still being established, eg hedging on order, but it will be fantastic.
Best shower I've come across on a French campsite (removable shower head and doesn't turn off till you want it to). Tiny issues stop it getting a 10: road can be noisy with lorries, loo is in same room as shower which might cause delays, sink area not under cover.
But at what other campsite would the owners take your washing in when it rains? Thank you for a lovely stay.

Made very welcome to this new site ran by French speaking English couple Ian and Julie.
Very peaceful with great views over the fields and the local village of Couterne. Central for exploring this part of France.
We will definitely be using this site again
