A lovely little campsite of around 40 pitches with great views of the lake. There is access to the lake for boats and although you could swim, there was a lot of seaweed so I didn't. It looks a bit like an orchard with spaces on grass for motorhomes, tents, caravans or whatever. Electric hook up on most pitches. We found it charming and wonderfully peaceful. Many campers took their drinks down to the lake edge to watch the magnificent sunsets.
The toilet facilities are somewhat dated in appearance but were very clean. You need to pay for the showers with a coin (50 cents I think). Dogs are welcome. The reception kiosk sold a few bits such as wine and lollies etc. There is a motorhome grey water disposal grid. I don't remember seeing any facilities for children and there were only one or two kids there. The site is perhaps more suited to adults.
There are shops within about 1 km with a Lidl and a smarter supermarket (Edeka) across the road, bakers, restaurant etc - a very nice cycle away. We also cycled to Meetsburg which is a beautiful town where you can get ferries to Austria etc and was about 6km away along the lake cycle route.
The site was about half full when we arrived on the Friday lunch time but quickly filled to capacity by the next morning. Prices are high - about 40 euros for a night for two plus electric is metred and charged at the end of your stay. We thought the price worth it for the location and it was much nicer than the other two we called into around Lake Constance.
