An immaculately kept, excellent, secure and safe site with a quiet, peaceful outlook over fields of alpaca, pygmy goats, sheep and horses. Jo and James are friendly and helpful hosts, producing a useful guide to their farm and facilities and information about the area.
The site is level, very clearly set-out and has great green credentials using solar and wind generated power, even using special toilet fluid that he sells at a discounted price.
Only one drawback. It is easy to overload the electricity supply so need care to avoid using too many appliances at once.
A superb location for exploring Buckinghamshire and perfect for visiting the scene of the Great Train Robbery and following the robbers’ getaway route.

Very good location. Quiet, not far from local services clean well kept site that is off grid. The owners are very pleasent and helpful.
This site is based on a working farm with the owners living close to the c/l, There are no showers or washroom but this is reflected in the price so no grumbles, The site is secure with an electronic gate to the farm.
I only have one gripe and that is the low power ehu I would say 6amp. Even a kettle was too much for it at times.
In colder weather you would be forever going to your hook up post re setting the trip, However that said this is a beautiful location with lots to do in the surrounding area,
If we returned to this part of the world I would return to this site
The local village had a pleasent pub doing good food and isn't a long walk all in all this is everything you want from a c/l

Jo and James are the very pleasant owners and hosts of this CL. They are on hand to offer advice, places to visit, directions, etc.
It is peaceful with clean toilet facilities.
There is a footpath to Aston Abbots where The Royal Oak, which serves very good food, can be found. The village and church are worth a visit.
We hope to return and would have no hesitation in recommending this delightful CL

A great CL site, - based just outside Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, -the camping field is by the farm house on a specialist smallholding /working farm with rare breed sheep, pigs, alpacas, horses, rabbits, and ducks.
The farm is a small holding and the alpacas are the star attraction, in addition to the CL site the farm do open days and alpaca experience days and alpaca walks for day visitors to the farm
The general ethos is for green sustainability, with rain water harvesting to flush the toilets on site and the elsan point can only be used if you use the bio blue in your loo, ( they can sell you a bottle for a discounted price ) - they use solar panels on the barn for electricity too.
The farm is immaculate and very well looked after
The camping field is very well kept, level and well drained, access is easy and the farm has electric gates which are closed at night-you get a key fob to allow access in and out, the field is bordered on one side by the farm house, and on all other sides by livestock fields- its a very rural outlook, - fields of sheep, horses and alpacas.
The EHU is a good 16 amp and the toilets are a 2 minute walk, are spotless, - please note there are no shower facilities at this site
The farm has a little shop selling duck eggs, - sausages from ' rare breed' pigs and similar and there are lots of alpaca related bits to buy
The site owners are exceptional, they cant do enough to help, upon arrival you are given a friendly warm welcome but also a sheet pointing out local places of interest, details or doctors, dentists and details like nearest shops, pubs/ eateries, and things to see, there are also a lot of country walks in the area. - during our stay my family were allowed to go and see the sheep being clipped, and to go see the alpacas, the rabbits and other animals in the evening. Really lovely
Very close to bucks railway centre and its preserved steam trains, close to the natural history museum at tring, also not far from roald dahl museum too.
Its a lovely CL site, really well thought out and managed by a very friendly site owner, - we will go back for a long weekend
The hosts are fantastic
