This is a beautiful little dog-friendly site set in a chalk downland farm.
I received a warm welcome from the hostess and soon got chatting with a lovely family with two springer spaniels.
I parked on one of just a handful of beautifully flat 16 amp electric pitches amongst the trees.
My dog thought she was in heaven amongst scents of rabbits and squirrels.
Facilities are basic (water, waste disposal, electric) but well maintained.
I would thoroughly recommend this site and will probably return myself.

Really nice site. Loads of space. Lovely grass. Not all lumps and bumps.
There is quite a fast road nearby so there is traffic noise but it’s not too bad.
The owner was very friendly

A lovely site with a charming owner who will probably come and see you twice and then leave you alone. The main CL (all hardstandings) is in the trees, but there is also a huge hardstanding (bigger than some sites) adjacent to the top field with several ehu points. If you make prior arrangement and there is no rally taking place then you can pitch here, which we did. Very easy to obtain a satellite signal despite being near the trees.
There is an information hut with plenty of leaflets, a map on the wall and books to borrow/exchange. Just up the track to the right are the recycling bins, the best ever.
Access is easy, you will probably be coming from the north, so make sure you take the farm road on the left. Left past the house and you will see the site(s) at the top. Chichester caravans is directly opposite the entrance.
There is loads of space in the woods (lovely wild flowers) and the fields. Go through a small gate by the house which takes you to the parallel track to a few houses, Budletts Common to the right, big area of woodland with many footpaths straight on. You will probably see some deer.
You should see the Shell garage when approaching, about a mile away by the roundabout, has a small shop. Tesco is in Uckfield, right out of the site, to the right turn at the bottom of the hill.
Would we recommend this site? you bet we would. £13 per night, perfectly reasonable.
